Welcome to Slambe Diego! Wednesday, August 17th, this is the

GIST baseball show. I'm Peter Apple joined by Ryan Finkelstein. This is an ode to Arm and Jack. Jack is

unfortunately calling games a AAA, of course, for your Indianapolis Indians for the Pirates. And Arm had surgery today on his

hip. But the good thing is, Ryan and I are going to be talking about contenders. And we're not going to

include any of their teams, the Marlins or the White Sox, because I think that's clear.

Ryan, we're going to be talking about our favorite teams. But while I just made fun of Jack and

Arm for their teams, I may have some

negative things to say about my Yankees, but I'm sure you only have positive things to say

about your Mets. How are you, dude? I'm doing pretty good, man. Got the news today. Brett Bady's

coming up. That's exciting. So all is good for the Mets right now. There is some injuries, of course,

to talk about. But overall, pretty happy with this team right now. Hard to not be. Hard to not be. Is there anyone right now just before we get off the top that's kind of pissing you off? On the Mets specifically? On the Mets specifically. I don't know. I mean, J.D. Davis hitting a bunch of home runs in San Francisco is kind kind of pissing me off i was hoping you were going to say that because he had two of runs yesterday i tried to walk you into that one did he hit two runs yesterday i don't know if he had two runs yeah but he definitely went two for four with with at least a bomb and i was just i wanted you to walk into it yeah well thank you for that thank that.
