We didn't plan it, but we're wearing the same shirt. Pretty much. I was like, you know what? I'm trying to feel the spring vibes, even if it's still kind of not that springy outside. And so I was like, time to break out my floral dresses. Yeah. Yeah. I also have been feeling like I couldn't wear this because it contrasted too much with my turquoise hair, but I dyed my hair again. I don't know if you noticed. It's darker. Yes. A darker green now, so I feel like I can finally wear this dress again. Yeah. I haven't worn this in a while either. And it's definitely, this shirt I bought with you. I don't know if you remember that. I bought it at that shop I really liked. You got that dress?

Yes, where I got that that got shrunk. Anyways, that's a whole thing. I love the shirt. This is one of my favorite shirts, but it's very, very light. And so it's very much like a spring, summer shirt. And I also was like, well, I'm only going to be recording the podcast indoors for an hour. I can do this. I think we can make it

happen. Yeah. I won't freeze today. Um, all right. We've got a fun episode because we are doing

a reading Confessions app. We love these. This is when you guys have problems and you

tell us about them. And we try our best to listen, to be there, and to maybe offer some advice

if appropriate, which we do tend to do. So this is going to be a lot of fun.

Before we jump in, we have a couple of little podcasty notes at the top.

The first thing is that our book club has been decided.

chosen. And the winner is? I don't know. Because as of when I'm recording this, we don't actually

know. But by the time this comes out, we will know. So I'm going to throw to future Ariel.

The winner of the book club is Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield. Thank you so much to everyone who voted. We had like

over a thousand votes. It was awesome. And Raylene and I are both very excited to read the book.

Wow. I can't wait to read that. As of this time, there are kind of three frontrunners,

so I have an idea of what it's going to be. Yeah. I'm intrigued. Can you remind me what the front run?

The frontrunners are motherhood. Convenience storewoman and Our Wives Under the Sea. So some juicy

picks there. I'm very excited about all of those.

Yeah. Those are all really good. So if it's not one of those, man, I'll be surprised. Yeah,

they're a little bit of a real plot twist. Um, so anyways, you guys just heard who the actual

winner was. If you'd like to join us for the book club, I hope that you will. It will be happening throughout June.
