1:24.0 | And so I learned that I'm not so needed for the day to day because over the past few years I've put a lot of processes into place. |
1:32.0 | I've put a lot of playbooks into place that a lot of the things I was doing was very easy to take them off my plate and have other people continue those things on. |
1:42.0 | But there's one key mistake that I have made over the past few years and I'm really realizing that as of late. |
1:51.0 | So I was reading a book called Buy Back Your Time, which was a really, really great book and it pointed this out for me and realizing it has changed absolutely everything. |

2:06.0 | So I'm going to share it with you now because if you are the kind of entrepreneur that is looking for more freedom in your life and not to be tied to your calendar and not be the bottleneck for absolutely everything, not be approving, creating, doing all the things. |

2:22.0 | So when I first started my business, I didn't have a lot of experience in being in a business. |
2:29.0 | I never had a lot of bosses in my life. I'm very much being an entrepreneur. |
2:33.0 | And so a lot of what I've learned has been learning on the go, learning through podcast books, cultures, mentors. |
2:39.0 | And it was my belief that when hiring, I would hire based on rules. |
2:46.0 | So I would hire a marketing person to handle marketing and operations person at handle operations. |
2:54.0 | I would hire maybe a chief of staff to manage team or, you know, support me in my role. |
