Welcome back to the dungeon master's block, the place where we come to talk about the dungeon master, the most important person in the game.

With every conversation, we hope to inspire as many as possible

to keep on dungeon mastering.

I'm one of your host, D.M. Neal, aka Jote Moniac,

and today we are going to be talking about a monk subclass

entitled Way of the Waking Dream.

Basically, this is a great breakdown of how to make a subclass because inevitably, we as

DMs are going to want to tackle this or have players that want us to better incorporate

pieces of our worlds or their stories to make a subclass rather than an entirely new class.

So this is a great conversation about how, at a higher scale, it's being approached,

but all of these things are things to think about and use at our own tables.

Also, dear patrons, if you keep your eyes out, we have another monster dropping on the Patreon very soon.

I guess it's one monster in two stages or two monsters, depending on how you look at it.

But it is going to be titled The Rise and the Fall, because after the Fall is defeated, rising up out of it is the rise,

which is a demon that had been possessing the fall,

and inevitably the destruction of the fall is exactly what the rise had always wanted.

And I think it's a really fun monster that you can add into your game wherever you need to.

But with that out of the way, there is only one thing left to do.
