Part two of Dorothy's.

We don't even know her last name at this point.

She's had so many.

Oh, I was like, what?

Yeah, we do. I was not following the joke.

It fell flat. Well, anyways, this grandmother, type woman, caregiver, she's racking up on the victims,

financial fraud victims, elderly abuse victims, people that go missing. Now she's hired inmates. Now the whole

inmate situation, they are there for labor. And what she did is to again make herself look good

is she said, oh, I want to help give these people a new start. They are now out of prison. They're

in a halfway house. I would like to offer them employment. They can come and work for me.

But how else might that benefit her? Well, they're not going to say anything, right? They might be

a little more hesitant to go talk to police about anything because they've

got their own histories that they are dealing with. Well, not only that, if she does a bad

report on them, they may lose their parole. Exactly. Exactly. So we're going to pick up right

there. She has hired the inmates, but we still have more people at this boarding house to talk about.

So October through November of 1987, we have Vera Faye Martin, who was 61. She was sent to live with Dorothy on October 2nd.

Vera was described as verbally abusive and a long-time alcoholic.

So why would Dorothy take in someone who was verbally abusive?

At this point is where we learn that Martin, Vera Faye Martin, was placed at the house
