Looking forward to it. This is an interesting topic. I get asked about this all the time. So in

this episode, we're going to chat about Russ's very interesting entrepreneurial journey.

And then he's going to share his incredible insights and expertise on patents,

specifically patents as it relates to a startup organization, but we're going to talk about

patents in general in small business. Russ Krayjack is an author, an inventor, an angel investor,

a podcast host, a patent attorney, and he believes that the patent system

does not serve startups very well at all. He believes that you can find good ideas and

curate valuable patent assets, even though, as you'll share, 95% of all patents are worthless.

Russ is the CEO of Blue Iron and Blue Iron finances, insures, and loans money using patents as collateral, very unique.

And he's going to explain how they do that a bit more. Russ, as I mentioned as an author, his book, his current book is called Investing in Patents,

and soon to be released is his second book, which will be called Startup IP Strategy.

And they described the systematic process for due diligence on inventions, as well as a

comprehensive framework for a startup's IP strategy.

He's also a podcaster, as I said.

His podcast is called Patent NIFs, and he tackles many complex IP issues,

simplifying them into meaningful strategies for today's entrepreneurs.
