This is our holiday special edition podcast, although it's not really special because

the structure will be very similar to all 200 number of podcasts you've been tuning in before.

But this is your first time joining us.

this new version of our podcast. Please hop in there and make fun of us, ask us questions,

among other, you know, chatter of the sort. Fellas, just opening thoughts. Jim, go to you first. You know, how you feeling, morale, weather, Christmas, give shopping. I don't know, whatever you want to talk about. Too far behind on Christmas shopping with it being four days away. But I am so ready for a little break from hoops. That is not a slight at hoops. It it is a i am looking forward to a little relaxation

i'm going to sleep in once or twice it's going to be fantastic and chicago's about to be hit by a

megastorm or or apparently that's what i'm told oh yeah and i'm i'm all stocked up on groceries i'm

gonna hunker down i'm gonna watch some movies i think i I'm going to start Jack Ryan on Amazon.

Season 3 is coming out. I hear good things, Jim. Yeah, I'm pretty pumped for that. I'm going to watch Glass Onion when that's on Netflix tomorrow. I am real pumped for the holiday season here, Kai. Oh, Jim, as am I. And St. Louis Matthew is due for a couple of flurries ourselves. We're excited about that little

white Christmas, which I've been told has not happened a whole lot in the last 30 years, something

like seven or eight times for the St. Louis area. Interesting, fun fact, isn't that, Matthew?

Yes, it is, Kai. I'm just, I'm laughing at Jim still. He's the guy that goes and buys milk and

eggs and red whenever there's an ominous weather report. Like that's going to save us for three weeks. Anyway, Jim, good for you being prepared. I'm just giving you crap, pola. Yeah, so we're going to talk the usual stuff here. Roots Roundup, great segment. We've saw that. A really good segment. No, not as good as roots. I think it's just my favorite segment,. Three-man thoughts, a program staple and then a weekend preview, which really won't exist because there isn't games this weekend. But we have games on the horizon. Next week, conference play starts, and we get some big bad, you know, rivalries and such. And that's when it starts to matter. The non-con is in the review at this point.
