And today, for Free For All Friday, I want to talk about board games, those classic board

games that we played as kids growing up.

But we still introduced our kids today, the secret rules behind them, the fun retro TV

commercials that went with them.

Today is a day to go down to Stalgelane and talk about the secret world of board games.

And I'm going to restrict myself to those classic board games that people grew up with,

as well as some other games that I found interesting that I didn't play myself, but some that I've

come across that I definitely want to share with you.

So there are those classic board games that we grew up with.

And I think a lot of us started on those and then migrated to the more mature games,

the better games.

For example, I always had friends, and this might be a heresy alert to some of my listeners,

growing up in high school, especially college and after college, I had friends who always

wanted me to play settlers of Catan with them.

And I never put in the time to really learn the rules.
