Hi, everyone. Sorry this episode is coming late. If you'll remember, last weekend, my voice was feeling a little

froggy, and I went on to have a nasty sinus infection,

which now that I'm saying this out loud, I'm realizing I didn't take the fifth day of my Z pack.

Okay, fix that. I woke up on Monday not feeling great, but my voice was still pretty much okay.

And then on Tuesday, I had basically totally lost my voice.

I was supposed to record Patreon that Wednesday night had to push it.

And I was like, we'll do it Thursday.

On Thursday, I still had no voice.

I had to miss.

I still, I don't know if I've talked about this,

but I'm volunteering this year on the teen girl advocacy thing that I did last year for my internship.

I'm just working with the group on a volunteer basis. I love it. I'm so glad to be back to my

girls on my internship this year is pretty flexible, so I'm able to do it. But I had to cancel that. Like, I couldn't go to the

meeting on Thursday. And so I wasn't able to record Patreon until Friday night. And I was worried that if I

recorded Friday night and I woke up on Saturday and then recorded on Saturday, that I would be

pushing my voice too much. So I decided I

would just wait. I would record Sunday morning, upload after I record. And thankfully, my voice is

feeling and sounding a lot better. It definitely still feels a little strained to speak. But

losing your voice and you're a podcaster really sucks. It really, really sucks.
