absolutely boiling hot here, completely sweltering and the heat wave continues.

I think this is a heat wave which is all over this part of Europe, certainly the UK, France,

the Netherlands and so on.

It's boiling hot at the moment and I'm it's just a couple of days ago. It was 39 degrees

It still feels about the same level of heat

Just yesterday evening. I was with my wife in the kitchen and the floor

tiles of the kitchen were actually warm under our feet. They were warmer than our feet.

It was like being in a Turkish

bath or something. It's just completely sweltering. We are in the top of our

building, so we're kind of in the top, in the roof as it were, and I think a lot of

the heat comes up through the building and it sort of

collects in our apartment basically. Also directly above our heads we have the the roof of the whole

building and as you know in Paris the roofs are covered in

lead you know that kind of heavy metal they cover the rooftops in lead here so I think

that the lead absorbs a lot of the heat and
