Hello everyone, welcome back to The Hamilkast. I am Jillian. Today I'm here with Leslie

Belman from the West End. Hi. Hello. Thanks for having me. Thanks for coming. Before we get

started and do anything else, can you tell me your pronouns please? He, him. Great. You were in

the original cast of Hamilton. Yes. Charlie. Yes. There's been like a lot happening with the

planning of this. Let's tell the people like so we have to thank Bella who does the Hamilton fans

LDN. That's her at. She did the trivia and that's how we sort of got put in touch a long time ago.

And then I was going to do like I reached out to you and Stevenson and Sharon and I was like let's

do like a round table and let's you know hang out and have like a group recording virtually

and through like emails and time zones and rehearsals and everyone's busy schedule. Now I was like

all right, total change of plans. Everyone gets their own episode. So we're hanging out for a

couple hours. Then I have like 15 minute lunch break and then I'm getting right on with Stevenson.

So that's the day today and I'm thrilled to do it. So tell me why you're so busy. Tell me what's

going on. Well, obviously for quite a while we weren't busy. Exactly. Not busy at all and then

all of a sudden it's just it's gone crazy. And I'm busy at the moment because I'm currently

doing a production of South Pacific at the Titus de Festival Theatre here in the UK.

And we've been in rehearsals and understudy rehearsals and we've got a new leading lady and

this is technical stuff and so it's been very hectic and finally we've got a couple hours today

to just chill out. So here we are. I'm so glad you made the time. I really really do appreciate it.

I know it's hard, especially with the time zones and everything. So there I mean you of course

performed at the Olivier's with the original cast of Hamilton. So we'll talk about that. You're
