Yvonne McClaren has faced the unthinkable - from a tonsil cancer diagnosis to a partial glossectomy (and tonsillectomy and lymphadenectomy), but has gone on to change the outlook for other HNC patients through her work as a passionate patient advocate.
She's a chef, soup savant, contributing author to university curricula, and podcast host.
Yvonne’s goal is to bridge the gap between SLPs /Dietitians and home kitchens with lived experience as a passionate foodie who promotes the social implications of meals with those that we love.
She brings her experience, passion, and enthusiasm to this episode which is a must-listen for all SLPs.
