because that was kind of how I felt when we started marinating on what we were

going to talk about today but this was the topic that came very clearly to my mind that even when I tried to deviate I felt like no that's what you're supposed to talk about so we're going to go for it and it is

drum roll the for it. And it is, dream-rue, the law of chastity. Okay. And I feel like this is the topic that a lot of times people, I've heard people talk about, you know, if they have to give a lesson on this in church they're like, oh, like, they kind of act like, oh my gosh, that is, that's rough, good luck, you know. But it's really not, it's not a terrible

thing, it's a wonderful thing and I think the reason why I, that came to my mind and I think the reason why I that came to my mind and I felt compelled to share about it and that we should talk about it today is

There's a lot of information floating around out there about the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, otherwise known as Mormons, and a lot of it is complete misinformation and falsification and all kinds of other things.

And so one of the things that I learned that was really powerful to me when we were

podcasting several seasons ago was from

Sharon McMahon, Sharon says so.

It was right after the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City came out. And we did a whole podcast

episode and then after we stopped recording and I was like, hey Sharon, can I just

ask you something personally? And she was like, sure. can I just ask you something personally?

And she was like, sure.

And I said, this Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

just came out.

And I've seen the previews for it, apparently it's a TV show with at the time the whole cast were

either non-members or women who were not active in our church and yet they were kind of spinning it as like

this is a great representation of like now you're going to get to know what Mormon women

are all about.

And I said, I can already just see even from the previews

that there's all this misinformation

or misrepresentation going on.
