0:06.1	I'm Erin Scala and here's our show today. Oh, Ryan Looper on the show today. Hello sir, how are you?

0:30.0	So you grew up in Texas?
0:32.0	I did. I grew up in East Alice. What was that like? East
0:36.7	Dallas at the time was poverty, gangs, violence, drugs.
0:44.0	I'm the son of a preacher man.
0:46.2	My dad was an elder in a kind of a minister type
0:50.7	in a non-denominational church called Redeemer's Fellowship.
0:54.2	And I think that church was there to reach out to that community.
0:57.8	It needed it.
0:58.8	And at the same time, my mom was really highly lauded tennis player in high school in college.
1:04.2	So when I was growing up, she was a tennis pro.
1:06.7	And so I spent a lot of time on the tennis courts,
1:09.6	a lot of time at church, and a fair amount of time
1:12.0	running around that crazy neighborhood.
1:13.2	Because that's kind of some different worlds there probably.
1:15.6	Totally.
1:16.6	Totally.
1:17.6	And it was salty, you know, it was a rough neighborhood.
