Encyclopedia Brown challenges where I read one of these old mysteries intended for an eight-year-old to Mike and see if he's able to solve it along the way.

I think there's a chance if you, you know, if you read these, if I read these, they're just like lurking in your head, you know, like if you remember something and don't know why you know it, there could just be a subliminal memory of these formative years reading these in your tree house or something.

It's very weird memory. Like, where are your memories? Because I went to, I moved out of a home when I was three and a

half years old and when I drove back to this town which I grew up in I told Bridget like I'm just

going to find this place with my memory and I went to it drove around a really old neighborhood, and I went, that's my house.

And I walked up to the door, and I knocked on it, and a really old guy came out. And I said,

hey, did you, I know this is a long shot, but did you, was, there used to be this like

ranger station out and back that my dad built for us.

And he goes, yep, I tore that down when I bought it 58 years ago.

He was the guy that bought it from my dad.

Wow.

But the point being, somehow my memory of where I lived at three and a half, I could find it without no problem whatsoever. I was like, where is that in that, in my skull? You know what I mean? Yeah, well, I had no clue. Encyclopedic memory. Yeah. We brought it around. When my friend moved out of our neighborhood in probably middle school, he came back, you know, a year later. And we were like,

you know, I had known him since we were four or whatever. So we had spent a lot of time in that house. We went over there and he was like, hey, this is the house I grew up. And you might if I came in to look around? And the guy was like, uh, and now that I, you know, now that I live live in a house that I own.

I'm like nothing,

nothing would fill me with greater unease

than that happened happening to me.
