of the first line or two of a story from Newsweek magazine that all of us around here found a bit disheartening and

alarming. A slight majority of American adults say Jesus was a great teacher and nothing more

during his lifetime. That's a slight majority as a as a matter of fact.

The article goes on to say,

65% of evangelicals say Jesus is a creature and not the Creator.

This is now, polling people about their religious beliefs

is always fraught with difficulty and you got to take these polls with a grain of

salt. However, even if this is off by 50%, you know, that's serious business.

Many, many people don't know the identity of Jesus and many of them are sitting right next to you in the pew in church on Sunday.

So we've got to do something about that.

We asked Carlo to come and talk about it.
