And because it is a film that was released this calendar year in theaters back on January

16th.

And it is now available on Netflix.

So I feel like a lot more people have had a chance to see it because the movie did not do particularly well at the box office.

In fact, I think it lost money.

And now a sequel is sort of like up in the air, unfortunately.

Because this was supposed to be a new trilogy.

So there was 28 days later awesome awesome

awesome movie from 2003 yeah uh directed by danny boyle written by alex garland then there was 28 weeks later

which came out in 07 which i would say is fine It was retconned a little bit in 28 years later,

which came out last year,

once again directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland.

And then what we're going to talk about today is called 28 years later,

The Bone Temple,

written again by Alex Garland, but directed by Nia da Costa, who has a resume

that consists of the Candyman reboot, The Marvels, and a movie that came out a year ago called

Hedda.

And so it was supposed to be part of this trilogy.

And now Danny Boyle was supposed to come back for the third one
