And on this week's episode, we're going to be talking about the 2025 film, 28 years later, directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland and starring Alfie Williams, Jody Comer, and

Aaron Taylor Johnson. In this film, 28 years have passed since the breakout of an infection

and a young boy confronts the dangers of the world while trying to save his mother.

If you are new to our show, we're going to have a spoiler-free discussion for the first

10, 15 minutes or so, then we'll take a quick break, you're going to hear a little bit of music,

and then we'll come back, we'll go through the plots, we'll spoil the film, and we'll give

Brian, this is probably the movie I was most hyped about going into this year.

How are you feeling coming into this?

Yeah, I was excited for it too. I try not to get too excited about anything, but yeah, I was,

I was interested, especially because it's been so long. I mean, we had 28 days later in 2002,

then five years later, 28 weeks later in 2007.

And now it's been 18 years.

And I think since it takes place 28 years in the future, this is this technically five

years in the future?

Sure.

Unless the original film took place in the past, you know, we assume it took place
