Acts chapter 28, verses 30 and 31. This is how the book of Acts ends.

Paul lived there two whole years at his own expense and welcomed all who came to him,

proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ

with all boldness and last two words without hindrance. That is the last, really, it's actually

the last word in the book of Acts, unhindered.

The whole story of the spread of the gospel from the early disciples, that small group in Acts

Chapter 1 throughout the known world, the Roman Empire by Acts 28, the gospel has gone forward. Disciples have been made. Church has been planted.

Thousands and thousands of people have come to know Christ. And in the very end, so you got Paul

under house arrest, but he's proclaiming the kingdom of God. He's teaching about Christ with boldness

and the gospel is going forward unhindered. What a great picture. That is a clear takeaway from

the entire book of Acts. You cannot stop the spread of the gospel. Nothing can stop the spread of the

gospel in the world. It continues unhindered. All throughout the book of acts,

it's faced obstacle after obstacle after obstacle. The church has faced challenge after challenge,

persecution, death, imprisonment, all these things have happened. But in the end, the gospel goes

forward without hindrance, unhindered. So so be confident today we can be confident today

2,000 years later the gospel has gone forward for the last 2,000 years and it will continue to go

forward unhindered you can't stop the gospel of god and the people of god with the power of the

spirit of god It is unstoppable.

So, oh God, we praise you. We praise you for 2,000 years of gospel proclamation, unhindered gospel

proclamation. We think of all the obstacles, all the challenges, all the threats to your church over the last

couple of thousand years for all the ways that the adversary has sought to keep the gospel from
