I came across a great resource recently and wanted to share it with you!  My church has some questions they encourage us to ask our kids each year in an effort to gauge the opinions of our kids about how we are doing as a family unit and how they feel we are doing as parents.

that is really fun and I've been meaning to tell you guys for a while but I've just been busy so now's the time.

Our pastor wrote a couple questions that he likes to ask his family every year.

The questions are for your children regarding the family to

gauge how your kids think that you're doing as a family unit and you as a parent specifically.

Now, our kids are not the boss of us but it gives us insight and our

job as parents is so important. I mean supremely important we should want to do it well.

This kind of holds up a mirror in front of us and lets us know this is their

perception of what's happening. Any of us who have ever been in a relationship can understand

that the way we think things are going and the way they actually are going can be very different.
