and I'm interviewing today, Jim Dunstan, back for a second interview with us about space law.

Jim, thanks for joining. It's great to be back, Baron. So we talked last time introducing you,

talking about your career in space law, how you came to be the space lawyer who did the first commercial lease

in space. You did advertising deals for the first Radio Shack ad, the World Series pitch. That was a lot of fun.

We worked together here at Tech Freedom. You're an adjunct fellow here in addition to your own work

at Mobius Legal Group, representing

clients in space.

And a lot of what we've done over the last 10 years been about the thorny issue of private

property in space.

Something that especially libertarians get very excited about.

It sounded like fantasy for a lot of the 10 years that we've been doing this, even I would

say a year ago when you and I did a panel calling

for legislation. But a year and a half ago, the idea still sound pretty crazy. And yet, the House

of Representatives actually just passed a commercial space asteroid mining bill as part of a larger

commercial space bill.

You and I had some concerns about that.

We want to talk about them today.

But first, set the stage for us.
