Summary

Steve Simeone came to the apartment and we got in a nice long conversation about our struggles in Hollywood over the years. I’ve known him for nearly as long as I’ve been in Los Angeles. I didn’t quite realize how long it had been until we started talking. Man, there were some great times had while we were coming up. Steve is one of the funniest guys I know and he’s also one of the nicest. The fact that he’s not a household name is a sign that there is no justice in the world. But at least it led to some good stories about life on the lower end of the standup totem pole. I hope you enjoy it. I think too often there’s talk of how a particular entertainer made it in Hollywood and there’s never enough attention called to the survival years where you’re just trying to get by while you’re chasing your dreams. We got a lot of those stories in here. Enjoy.

1:03.0	We sort of started at the comedy store right around the same time, and we've been there ever since, just fighting it out.
1:11.0	So that's what this topic, that's what today's episode is about, it's all about sticking to it, just continuing chase your dream.
1:19.0	Speaking of that, I have a couple things to announce, on October 26th through the 30th in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, I'm taping my first comedy CD, just in time for the medium to be completely dead.
1:33.0	I've been doing it at the comic strip, it's the website if you want tickets is the comic strip.ca, it should be fun, I'm doing it at the rooftop records, I'm really excited about it, it should be cool.
1:43.0	Plus I can get rid of all this material, never have to do it again.

1:51.0	And also I'm headlining the Los Angeles improv, the Hollywood improv, November 11th, go to improv.com for tickets to that, they're finally letting me headline.
