Summary

I love running! That’s no secret. I love doing it, I love talking about it, I love racing, and I love training. I love the easy runs, the hard workouts, and the long runs. But sometimes it just feels good to vent, so that’s what I’m up to today. From shorts without pockets to angry runners in Central Park at 6 AM to GPS watches not finding satellites within eight seconds, here are a few of my running-related gripes. (Also: porta-potty lines at races, bathroom etiquette, and injury-related praise.) Normally, I'm all about like, let's keep it positive, let's be upbeat, but I got to be

The last like three weeks have been a little not great for me.

Everything's fine, not to worry, but just in general, it's been really stressful.

It's mostly work stuff and again, everything's fine, but like a lot of work piling up to

the point of like, I'm a little overworked.

I've been working very, very long days, which is fine.

I'm happy to put in the hours and work hard, but I'm feeling pretty burnt out.

I missed a lot of deadlines.

It's just like, it's just stressful.

Sometimes work is stressful.
