And I'm Elsa.

We've lived five years on the road in our 13-foot scamp trailer exploring the back country of the West with our dog camp.

Now, we dive into a new chapter as we build an off-grid home on our land in Colorado.

We'll start before Scamp Life, how we were making money and kind of the jobs that we were doing before moving into our trailer.

Neither of us were doing anything very elite, I guess I would say.

We weren't making big bucks by any means.

I during college had a couple video production jobs, and then right after after college I started face painting as an event face painter.

And that was pretty good money, good tip money and stuff.

I had a lot of cash at any given time.

But not like a lot of cumulative money, just cash.

No, never a salary.

Bank account wasn't giant.

I've never had a salary before.

A full nine to five salary job.
