So Greg Abbott, the Texas governor, deploys National Guard state troopers to counter Texas border crisis. And he made this tweet today.

Texas launched Operation Loan Start to respond to the border crisis. It deploys National Guard DPS officers, air ground marine and tactical border security assets to deny Mexican cartels and smugglers the ability to move drugs and people into the border.

Texas and people into Texas. Now this is this is great. And this is what I've been predicting for a very long time that the states were going to have to start taking matters into their own hands. And that is exactly what is happening.

I probably even called this exactly happening. I'm pretty sure I have said in one of my episodes of my podcast. Don't be surprised if Texas starts securing their own border. I wouldn't be surprised.

So Texas governor Greg Abbott announced on Saturday the deployment of the state's National Guard and state troopers to combat the smuggling of people and drugs in the Texas. The operation is known as Operation Loan Start. It will integrate the National Guard with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Abbott also announced the Department of okay, so just basically what what was being said, the crisis at the southern border continues to escalate because of Biden administration policies that refuse to secure the border and invite illegal immigration.

Abbott said Texas supports illegal immigration, but will not be a complete accomplice to the open border policies that cause it rather than prevent a humanitarian crisis in our state and endangering the lives of Texans.

We will surge the resources and law enforcement personnel needed to confront the crisis.

Abbott issued the order after meeting with Texas DPS director Steve Macron in February. Now, I guess this is obviously the right thing to do. This is good stuff.

I would say Greg Abbott gained a point in my book, but unfortunately he's probably lost maybe about 50 points when he did go along with the lockdown policies.

Even though he did end up ending the lockdown policies, he was just ending his own policy. So he lost a lot of points in my book.

Before lockdowns first started, he was kind of on the fence with the lockdowns and he was doing a lot of the right moves until he started to go full tyrant just like all the Democrat governors.

So I was in favor of him for a very long time. I figured I was like, hey, he's going to be president one day. He's doing all the right moves. He's running Texas great, you know, even before COVID.

And then he did the lockdowns and that put a lot of red marks in my book. But then he goes back to doing some great stuff like this again. So let's see.

He's doing what he's doing could be on a path or redemption, but did he show any of his true colors? And that's what we're going to have to find out.

You know, not going to blindly go in and support some dude anymore, especially when he's when he's done something tyrantically, you know what I mean.

But he did end he did end the lockdowns in his place, one of the first states to do so. So that does mean something he didn't keep them on lockdown. But you guys know what I'm saying.
