and technology news with me, Dan Wood. Me Ravi Abbott and me Joe Fox. And great to have you

joining us for another packed episode all about retro gaming, retro tech, computers, games that we grew up playing, the companies, the people that brought us all of those classic memories. And of course, we keep you updated on everything that's been happening in the world of retro gaming and technology over the last week. And if actually Joe and I sound a little bit laid back today. It's because actually, coincidentally, we're both on a week off at the moment, aren't we? Yeah, well, it's funny because we always actually have the same week off because of my birthday is the day before your wife's birthday, isn't it? So we ended up always having the same little bit of time off together, which is quite funny. We usually end up doing some birthday celebrations or something. But by the- bit drunk. By the sounds of it, Joe's been going to every zoo in the country. Yeah. On a zoo tour. I've been on a zoo tour in my week off. Now, I went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park only a couple of days ago, and then I've been to Twycross Zoo today. And then I'm going to White Post Farm, which is on the outskirts and Nautico as well later this week. I'm seeing all the family members because lockdown's kind of like easing and stuff like that. You know, and I've had a baby in lockdown. And the grandparents want to see her and want to do stuff. So it's just like, oh, Joe's got a week off. Let's get him. They're great outdoors though, Joe. Well, while you've been doing that, I've been indoors. I've got my soldering iron and my 32x. I'm determined to get that working on my Mega Drive. I've gotten those weird revisions that, you know, it actually needs a few ferret beads taken off for it to work properly. Oh, really? I always just assumed your 32x work fine. No, no, no. It's a flickering screen on it, so that's going to be my job tonight and then hoping to use a nice weather tomorrow to do a bit of retro brighting as well. So, yeah, cramming it all in this week. But this, even though on a week off. Doing this doesn't feel like work, does it? No, not at all. I look forward to it. Every week,

look forward to hanging out. But this, even though they're on a week off, doing this doesn't feel like work, does it? No, not at all. I look forward to it every week. I look forward to hanging out with my friends, even though it's, you know, over the internet. I'm still hanging out with two of my best friends every week. Online friends. Yeah. And I mean, you know what? We are getting, I'm getting like my home studio built. So hopefully this summer at some point we can finally get back together and do a show again in person.
