What a beautiful and generous definition of the church, that is.

Those who at every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

those whose speech has been made pure by the blood of the Lamb and who rejoiced to serve him with one accord.

The Word of the Lord endures forever is a daily verse-by-verse Bible study with the church,

past and present. Pastor Whedon is leading us in a study of the book of Zephaniah.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Greetings, people loved by God. So remember where we stopped last time. God had spoken a special word of warning to his holy city.

And remember, she was only holy because his presence, his righteousness,

his justice, persisted in trying to reach her. In and of herself, she was rebellious and defiled,

oppressing the less fortunate in her midst. God said she was so stubborn that she wouldn't listen to the voice of his

real prophets, nor would she accept any correction of her waywardness. She simply did not trust
