Hello everyone, welcome back to The Incomparable and another in our series of shows celebrating and

discussing Star Wars Episode 7, The Force Awakens. Hey!

I am your host, Anthony Johnston, and as you have probably noticed, I am not Jason Snell.

In fact, I'm not even one of the usual panellists because I live in the UK and normally when those guys are

recording it's about 3 a.m. here. So, uh, instead we're, we've decided we're going to call this

episode, how the North feels about Star Wars. And we're recording at a more civilized hour for a more

civilized show. Uh, Thank you, Liz.

You will usually find me, funnily enough, elsewhere on the incomparable network,

hosting the podcast unjustly maligned, where, by coincidence, we have, in fact,

I haven't defended the Star Wars prequels, to a certain extent in a, but my, I know, but my love of original trilogy Star Wars runs very, very deep and very long, right back to seeing a new

hope in the cinema when it was originally released. And so, joining me to talk about, let's be honest, the true successor to that original

trilogy, is from Scotland, Liz Miles, you heard her laughing a minute ago.

It's very seasonable in Wintry, Massachusetts. It's a balmy 50 or 60 degrees Fahrenheit here. So, yeah, maybe a little less north than usual.
