Tim is doing great. Thanks a lot for asking. I am very excited to bring our listeners this interview as well.

It is a tragic case. It is an unsolved murder of Juan Leon Lerales from 1996 in West Texas.

And this one came to us by way of some podcast friends, namely Laura Norton of the Fall line,

who introduced us to Arlene, who is Juan Leon's niece.

And Arlene has really made the rounds on Trucront Podcasts. I saw that she was on our friend Mike Moore for its podcast,

the murder in my family, and a couple others. So I think that is so great. And if you're hearing this and you're a podcast creator,

there is probably an opportunity to speak with her as well because she wants to share Leon's story.

And in this episode, we are also joined by an investigator who's been working with Arlene for the last, I guess, couple of months.

And she is staying anonymous, but she's going by the name Yaya.

She is a force to be reckoned with. I feel like the two of them together make such a great team.

There will be progress made on this. They've made such great progress so far, especially on a case that is so cold,

Leon died on May 11th of 1996. He was shot execution style. His car was set on fire.

There's been very little progress made and the investigation itself is frustrating to say the least.
