0:00.0	So hello, everyone. I'm pleased here, pleased today to have with me, Jonathan Pazzo and John
0:22.4	Verveiki, people that most of you, many of you, not all of you, will be familiar with. I've been
0:30.8	working on a new book entitled We Who Ressel with God. And it's been influenced by Jonathan's ideas
0:38.9	and John's ideas. And I developed an argument in part as a consequence of the public lectures I've
0:46.9	been doing for the last three months, trying to push my ideas farther. And I put forward a set of
0:54.7	propositions that I'm basing one of the book chapters on. I wrote it as an outline. And then I think
1:01.1	it's solid. I've been testing it when I've been speaking at universities as well to diverse audiences
1:06.8	of specialists to see if they'll object it, because I think it's actually quite radical. And I sent
1:11.7	this group of propositions or this list of propositions to Jonathan and John a month ago about,
1:18.5	and we've been going back and forth. And I thought I heard Jonathan was coming to town to do a talk
1:24.2	with John. And I thought, hey, that's a good opportunity. We could get together and walk through these
1:28.8	propositions, because I'd like to see if they're solid, because if they're solid, well, that's good.
1:35.0	And if they're not, I'd like to find out. And so we're going to do this a little different,
1:38.9	this is going to be a little different than many of the conversations I've had, because it'll
1:42.5	have a bit more structure. And I want to read the propositions. There's I think about 15 of them.
1:49.1	And I want Jonathan and John to comment on them to tell me where they agreed to tell me where
1:57.8	they disagree, tell me what they don't understand. And to see if I can, well, learn something as a
2:03.4	consequence, that's kind of the hope. And so we'll start with this first proposition. To see the
2:11.1	world, we must must prioritize our perceptions. So John, I'll ask you both that first, because that's
2:22.8	a particular, I believe a particular focus of yours. I don't think that's an exaggeration.
