It's a podcast, not a cast, pod, hey, phrase every day,

she'll make you say, oh my God. Oh my God. She got this good. On pop culture news, so great. Now you like this song. Yes. I love it. Hey, you guys, welcome to the podcast. I'm Sarah Frazier, your host. Today's show is a little bit different, although hopefully very authentic to who I am,

because if you've been listening to me for a long time, you know that I always have open

conversations. And sometimes those conversations involve actions that I've made. So today,

over the past 10 days, I'll say this first, I've done a lot of reflecting in my life,

thinking and just kind of been overwhelmed, I think, in a lot of

ways of stepping back and thinking about my actions. And by now, I'm sure you guys have all seen

the video that went viral about my comments on 17-year-old Michael Brown, who is an exceptional

student from Houston, Texas, who got accepted to 20 Ivy League schools, full

rides to all of them. And so that video went viral. I made an apology to Michael last week on

Twitter. That was where I could find him. I apologized to Michael, and I apologize to his mom in a

Facebook message that was a private conversation. I asked them to be on the podcast, but I know they're very busy and Michael has a lot on

his plate.

But I wanted to today address that and have an open conversation about the emotion around it,

the reaction around it.

And really today, the intention of this show is for me to listen, learn and take action.

So I don't do something like that again,

because I've just been so emotionally torn up about it. I'm not going to get emotional, hopefully.
