So yeah, let's just jump right in.

I had a best friend of six years

before I moved to a different state.

Just before I moved, however, we had a ginormous fight.

I know everyone says fights aren't their fault, but this really wasn't on me.

I admit I could have handled it better once the whole thing got started, but she got mad at me for a

misunderstanding that I quickly apologized for once I realized how I came across to her. It got so bad that her

parents had a quote-unquote intervention with me and talked to me about how I

could have been a better friend. At first they were on my quote unquote side, but because they saw that she was overreacting.

But as I distanced myself, I couldn't process, as I distanced myself because I couldn't process everything that was going on.

My role was falling apart because I was moving from the only place I had ever known, and now I was losing my best friend.

They got super upset with me.

Long, long, long story short, it's been a year now and I know I eventually

want to go back and visit my old friends, but it's hard for me to think about visiting because
