So you originally wanted to be a diplomat?

I originally wanted to be a diplomat? I originally wanted to be a diplomat.

But wine's kind of the same thing, but you don't have to watch what you say.

And so it had a little bit more of a draw towards it. For me once I started getting in it.

So how did you make that decision here? Well, you know I was traveling around the country a fair bit

I was living in San Diego. I thought I was going to go to graduate school, maybe go to law school, but my

neighbors in San Diego were Somalie's. Guy named Roger Browning, who owns a restaurant

out there now. And they would come home from work late at night carrying

bottles of California cab and like knock on our door at 1130 or midnight and be like, what do you guys do and come over

have dinner? And I was like, wow, this lifestyle looks like it's fun.

So that's kind of how I started to get into it.

I was like, maybe this is a job I can do.

Just answering the door around midnight.

Hang out with drunks in the middle of the night.

The wine business.

Yeah.
