In today's episode, first we have yet another Reesa Teesa inspired series, this time called "Who TF Is My Bridesmaid?" where TikToker Brianna tells all about their friend "Chu" who seems to have lied about .... well.... pretty much everything about herself. Then we move on to how a livestream by Kick Streamer Ed Matthews has led to people trying to cancel TikToker Ellie Dobleskie after their interaction on the stream was clipped and went viral. In the clip, Ed asks Ellie if a guy nearby was her boyfriend, to which she says "no, he's a friend" - but when Ed then asks her if she's single, she panics and changes her story, claiming that the guy is her boyfriend. Spoiler alert: he was not her boyfriend, but that didn't stop the internet from deciding that she was cheating on him and then lying about their relationship to the rest of the internet.

| 0:00.0 | Hello everyone and welcome back to Do We Know Them? Episode 275. |
| 0:04.1 | All right. We made it. I've been counting down to this one, so I remembered it for once. We're still counting. So, you know, Slayhan, I guess. 5,000. Is that where we're ending? 5,000? Oh, I didn't mean that it was ending, but like... But that's what we're going to stop counting? Up until that, yeah, maybe. how old will we be on episode 5,000? |
| 0:24.6 | Yeah, I think we actually might be dead at that point. That's crazy. Anyway, hello, girlies. We have a show for you. Are you ready for the show that we have for you? Today. Today? Right now? Oh, my God. Yes, we do. And actually, I was sending Jesse like topic suggestions. I was passing so many. Yeah, you were like rapid firing. Story times. I was scared. I know. I was like, here's another one. Here's another one. A lot of like multi-part series on TikTok. Love that. I love a good multi-part series, but I also love wedding drama specifically. This isn't really |
| 0:55.2 | wedding, like it's somebody's bridesmaid, but it's more so like a wedding adjacent. Yeah, it's more so like a crash out with a friend. Not a crash out. Falling out. Not a crash out. I was going to say, I mean, I would crash out based on whatever. Same. Yes. It's very much similar to what we recently have covered, except it's a little crazier. |
| 1:11.1 | I think just the whole notion of Risa Tisa, just like changing the way people tell stories on the internet. I think it's so cool. Because like so many people are like, who the fuck am I friends with? Who the fuck was my bridesmaid? Who the fuck did I date? I'm like, wow. The impact. One is funny because it's really not a complicated concept. it's like pretty like, yeah, I feel like everyone has that kind of a thing. It's like, who am I even friends with when you find out stuff about someone like later on? But Risa Tisa has really revolutionized it. No, but I mean, like even just the name, it's very catchy. Like, who the fuck did I blank? I just think that's like, I don't know. She's such a queen for that. That's great. I can't wait to see her series when it comes out. Oh my God. |
| 1:47.5 | Finally, I don't know. She's such a queen for that. |
| 1:44.7 | That's great. I can't wait to see her series when it comes out. Oh my God. Finally, I was right about something. She actually did sign for a series. I didn't dream it and I wasn't spreading misinformation. Thank you very much. Although, I think you said Netflix and I'm pretty sure it was ABC. You know, that I don't care about. |
| 1:59.7 | That is like totally irrelevant to me. |
| 2:01.9 | Speaking of Netflix series totally irrelevant to me. |
| 2:01.9 | Speaking of Netflix series, not to go on a little tangent right now, but I had two people text me to be like, you need to watch this Netflix series. You would be obsessed with it. |
| 2:13.5 | I don't even really watch TV anymore. So I'm'm like why are people like reaching out and like telling me |
| 2:17.8 | like you would specifically like it and i think they just know me pretty well because i did very much like it and i guess it's been trending i didn't see anyone else talking about it until now i've watched it now i'm seeing it everywhere i don't remember what it's called it's something like about a cat it's like high school catfish have you heard anything no about that no idea Oh my God. I won't give away the twist, but it's insane. It's about a girl in high school. I think it started when she was like 14 even. And she started getting these random texts from someone that were just like disgusting. They're like super vulgar. Oh no. And it was like trying to make her and her boyfriend break up. But then after they broke up, it was just like calling her like ugly and anorexic and like... I feel like it's her parents. Am I wrong? Super... Did I get it? I don't know. Oh, my God. I say so hard. Wow. God. I'm so smart. But it's, but then it's crazy because I'm like, sorry. Spoiler alert. Spoiler alert. I'm just too smart. I guessed it. My bad. |
| 3:09.6 | Nope. But literally, it's like, then it like ends up being the person, the quote-to-quote person, it's the mom. |
| 3:16.3 | But she's texting her daughter saying to kill herself, like constantly. |
| 3:20.6 | Some parents are fucking crazy. And I stand by that. It's insane. She ends up going to jail. Oh, I love that. Damn. But still worth a watch. I mean, despite the twist that you already know now because we spoiled it. Honestly, I knew it was going to be someone like a family member, but it's even still crazy like when you're anticipating it just because of how egregious the texts are that you're like |
| 3:41.7 | oh my god well hopefully it helps that we didn't remember the name of the series you know because we |
| 3:48.3 | spoiled it so since we didn't tell you the name maybe you'll stumble upon it one day and be like oh what is |
| 3:53.0 | this and then you won't remember the spoiler and everything will be okay well it's in the top top 10 of |
| 3:57.0 | Netflix so they'll probably see it. |
| 3:58.3 | I'm so sorry. |
| 3:59.1 | I'm highly recommend anyway. |
| 4:00.5 | Anyway, let's get started. |
