but are definitely worth listening. Today's story comes from Tibetan folklore,

and we'll start out with a hermit, who just made a really fortuitous catch.

Free bird, the hermit mutter to himself. I mean, who else is he gonna mutter to? He's a hermit.

He was out by the river when he caught a bird in the air, because that's definitely a thing.

Not just something that happens because the story needs it to. The bird said he wasn't exactly a

free bird. He was working on that, actually. Oh, free talking bird, the hermit said.

Shove the struggling white bird into the sack at his side, and hobbled back to his hut.

Yeah, so it's kind of a long story. The bird said, fluttering in the hermit's hut.

I'm actually the prince, the son of a con. Oh, this will actually make things a little clearer.

Here we go. He transformed back into a human, and flowing soft robes.

Yeah, I'm the crown prince, heir apparent. I have this brother who is super lazy,

and even though con dad tried to get him to work, he couldn't beat the kids interested
