I can't help but think of a young man I know of, who threw off all restraint, went to San Francisco in the 80s, lived a reckless life, and came

home to die of AIDS. He told his godly mother as she tended him at the end how sorry he was

that he didn't listen to all that he learned at home and school and at church. It really did lead

him to an untimely end.
