2:11.2

All right, here it is. It's a Monday. I'm still in New York City and just gathering up all kinds of cool East Coast guests for the podcast, which is great because I don't get out here much. And so when I am out here, there's nothing better than rounding up some cool stuff.

2:29.2

I'm rounding up some cool guests that I couldn't get usually. And today is definitely one of those guests. Paul Cox. And this is another installment of my handmade series. Paul Cox, if you don't know who that is, stay on and listen because he is a shopper builder. He worked with Indian Larry.

2:51.2

He had incredible success for years, making choppers together at the Indian Larry shop. And then of course, we lost Indian Larry, which is a complete, complete bummer and a major blow to the chopper industry. I guess Paul was telling me 12 years ago. It's been 12 years now.

3:14.2

I always loved what Indian Larry did and Paul Cox. They put together some of the coolest choppers made to me. I always thought it was West Coast choppers and Indian Larry. Those were the two legitimate bad ass choppers that I loved. They were completely rideable bikes.

3:34.2

You know, none of this big 200 or not 200, but 300 tire, 330. They were getting up to rear tires. As I call them, the unrideables.

3:46.2

You know, Paul has been working with motorcycles his entire life. He's also a master of leather. And he makes knives. This guy is a painter. He's a full blown artist, man. And I've always loved his work. And it was just an honor to have him on. Check out his Instagram, Paul Cox industries right away to see even before you start this episode.

4:14.2

Maybe hit pause and go see the stuff he does. And I was very happy to go out to Brooklyn today and do this episode. It was cool to see the neighborhood. It was cool to get outside of Manhattan and roll through the streets of Brooklyn.

4:31.2

I'm loving it out on the East Coast, man. I'm loving it out here. It's awesome. I got fucked. I got fucked on the subway today. I got on the car wrong way. First time, first time in eight days or something. I took the wrong, wrong train, wrong way. But it didn't matter. I ended up getting on a better train and got back quicker.

4:52.2

So yeah, not really the wrong way, but fuck. Even with the phone apps, I fucked up. It's easy to do, man. You're just underground. It's strange being in New York. You're underground a lot. And he just kind of feel like, you know, like escape from New York City. He just feel like it's just the road warrior style of end of the world.

5:19.2

Underground. You're wondering what you're breathing in. I was reading yesterday. Mad mosquitoes. They were saying there's massive mosquitoes at some of the stops. That's fucking gross. Just getting bit up while you're waiting for a train getting off work. Awesome. I love it. I've been walking everywhere. And walking and riding the train out there. It rains. It's fucking 90. It'll just pour rain.

5:47.2

So yeah, man, alive and doing comedy and podcast in here in New York for another week. Went and saw the new Woody Allen film last night.

5:57.2

Cafe society. You got to see a Woody Allen film, right? When you're in New York, how fucking, how cliche is that? Like, oh, yeah, Woody Allen film. New York. I got to do it. But I went. I'm a Woody Allen fan. So I wanted to go see it. Not that good. Not that good.

6:15.2

But at least he made it. You know, some of my favorite directors, they fucking take 10, 15 years in between doing films, like David Lynch. You know, I mean, come on. At least, Woody Allen. At least I got a bad Woody Allen film to go watch. You know, I'll take a bad David Lynch film anytime. He hasn't made any of our people think inland empire was bad. I disagree. I think that's a display of loosing a lot of things. So I, I think that's the way I'm doing it. I'm going to watch it. The first time I've seen this movie, I've never seen it, I'm going to watch it on TV. I was, I've been on TV for about 10 years. I'm on TV, I'm on TV. I'm on TV, I'm on TV. I'm on TV. I'm on TV, I'm on TV. I'm on TV. I'm on TV. I'm on TV. I'm on TV. I'm on

6:45.2

that I love to see someone's vision.
