0:22.6	Thank you, Laura. I'm so excited to be here. What was going on in those bad old days in your marriage?
0:30.4	Well, I feel like before I can go back to the bad old days, I have to go back to the good old days.
0:36.1	And that goes all the way back to when we met.
0:38.7	It was just that initial love at first night, romantic, everything I'd always dreamed
0:44.6	about.
0:45.6	It was just instantaneous.
0:48.0	And things were just amazing.
0:49.8	Our chemistry, we got along so well.
0:51.7	We had so much in common.
0:53.5	We both came from very similar backgrounds.
0:56.3	I grew up in a very strict Baptist home. He grew up in a very strict missionary home,
1:01.5	so we both could really connect on that level. Both of our gas were in the Air Force. It was just
1:06.9	kind of like this perfect, perfect union. And as we continued to date, everything was just
1:14.9	what I'd always dreamed of. He was so romantic. He was, he cherished me and he taught me such
1:21.3	good care of me. And then his mother came along. I met his, and she did not really approve of me.
1:30.6	I think it was more she didn't approve of him getting married at any point.
1:35.5	She was very controlling.
1:37.7	And so she controlled a lot of our dating, our engagement, all the way up until the wedding.
1:43.9	She kind of controlled everything.
