ignment guest, Elliot Ackerman. Elliot came on to promote 2034 in the novel of the next world war.

Last year, which he co-authored with Admiral James Stoogridis, who also made an appearance on the show.

Now he's got a new book out. It's called The Fifth Act, America's End in Afghanistan.

Elliot has served at pretty much all levels of the military, going from a marine infrastructure

officer to a special operations officer and then transitioning into the CIA. So this book is

a long time coming. It's cataloging his time, both in Afghanistan and then afterwards. And then

his role in the evacuation of Afghan allies during the fall of Kabul. There's a lot here. It's a

great book. I can't recommend it enough. Once again, like 2034 is one of the biggest books. We saw

going to books up last year, so cannot recommend either of these features enough. If you enjoyed
