there scrolling on his phone and just nod in his head going yes okay yeah cool yep yep and just like

just passively acknowledging you that is not listening okay listening is he's present. He hears you, but then the full completion

of this means that he takes action on something that you had mentioned. Okay. For example,

this could be, say you had a long day at work and you're feeling really stressed out and he does something to provide a solution and take some of the load off of you, to provide you a sense of comfort to provide you with a sense of ease.

This is a man listening to you, listening to your words, wants to step in, provide a solution, provide you with comfort.
