1:01.0 | And it wasn't even no ass eating afterwards. So I guess it was like the, the, I did to black Twitter wrong and I apologize and let everybody down. |
1:09.0 | I let them down to no. But yeah, it's this thing we like to do where we go on Instagram and, you know, you can probably do this in the city. |
1:18.0 | But you follow like your city and the local food scene because there's always like a blogger or company or a group of people who've taken it upon themselves to promote local restaurants and stuff and they post videos promoting these restaurants and stuff. |
1:33.0 | And so, um, especially when I was in New York, you know, I was missing home. Uh, I would look on my Instagram and see like, oh, a new restaurant open or this place I never heard of. |
1:43.0 | She just paused the show and I was like, what the fuck is that? What's that street? You got a lot of new restaurants open in because our city's ever expanding. |
1:51.0 | Um, and so, uh, you know, I, I bookmark the, I, I tack Karen in the comments to these restaurants like, yeah, we gotta try this. You know, we gotta try this. We gotta try that. And so our bookmark, the restaurant restaurants and we share, you can share bookmarks now. |
2:10.0 | So you can share like a thing where you can both save restaurants or say whatever. Yeah, food looks absolutely delicious sometimes. And some of them are actually like you said blogger or some of like local foodies like the, I'm just a foodie in the shot of Carolina area. |
2:26.0 | And then some of them do a variety of foods. There's some of them. It's like, hey, we just searching in the niggas spots and you were like, okay, cool. So the like the list is a little bit everywhere. |
2:36.0 | Um, so yeah, I, we went to this restaurant, uh, 204 North, I think it's what it was called. Um, because they just had these great looking dishes on, on the social media. |
2:49.0 | And we just ate our hearts content and came home and fell asleep at like six because I was so full and woke up at like one in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep. |
3:02.0 | Um, but yeah, it was, uh, it was so good. And I was just, it's, it's something I wanted to suggest just generally for people, whether you want to go out with the love one, you want to go out by yourself, you want to go out with friends, particularly if you're like new to a city, this is a great way to find a lot of good restaurants around you. |
3:19.0 | It's also a great way to hang out and see your friends and stuff like that. And, um, you know, I just, it was something that you never really hear people talk about. Then we talk about vacation, self care, taking time off and stuff. People are thinking about like getting out of their city, which is nothing wrong with that. |
3:36.0 | People are thinking about taking multiple long periods of time off. This is just in Saturday afternoon when it was kind of right before everything picks up at like five or six. |
3:45.0 | And right after everything dies down the lunch with downtown. And you know, it's like an expensive, you know, because I, I'm not, I don't know about child, y'all, it might not be shit to y'all, but you know, $200 is, it's still $200 when you add all the drinks and stuff together. But it was really good. |
