Yola. We're here and we're excited to talk about books

but also our lives you know here we are we're doing a an audio only episode today no video

because it was actually quite hilarious we just got off of doing our monthly

live show where we hung out with our dear sweet patrons, chatted with them for quite a while,

and then at the end of it, Raylene and I both looked at each other. And I could just see in your

face, Ray, that you were tired.

And I was like excited that I could see that you were tired because I was feeling really tired.

And I said, Ray, what if we did like, I don't know, just an audio only episode?

And it was like both of us basically started to cry.

We were just like, that's the move.

The relief I felt was palpable.

You were just like I mean you you put it perfectly you were like I just don't want to be perceived right now and I was like the idea of

doing all of the tech of the camera right now just felt like a step too far. Yeah, yeah, I agree. I also, I'll get into more in my life update. But right now I have a bunch. All my books are still in boxes and they're right next to me now instead of being behind me because I got bookshelves, which is super fun. But I had to move them. And so I feel very, like, crowded by books and, like, kind of claustrophobic.

And filming would have been really annoying for sure.

So I'm glad that we don't have to do that.

So we're just taking a little break from video today.

Also, today is kind of like, how do I put this?

It's like this really is the final moment of calm before the storm.

Yes.

And so I kind of like the idea of doing the most gentle episode ever because the next few weeks of episodes are going to be cuckoo crazy.
