Hey, Katie Floyd, how are you today?

I'm doing well.

And you know, this is an episode that I've been thinking about for a while.

Ever since you announced, gosh, what was it several months ago now,

that you were kicking it to the man and going solo.

Yeah that all happened kind of in late February.

After 21 years and a lot for my left and opened up my own solo practice.

And it was terrifying and we thought at the time, hey, that's a good show.

So what you're saying is you quit your steady job after 21 years and took a huge risk just so we would have content for

this particular episode of MacPower users. That's how I roll. Because that's

how dedicated you are to the show. And so we were thinking at the beginning I said well let's wait several months because I just wanted to see how the dust

settle. I had kind of an idea of how I'd go about setting up my own small Mac-based business which is what this show is really about how do you set up a small Mac-based business, which is what this show is really about, how do you set up a small-mack-based business.

And but I wanted to kind of be in the trenches a while before I got too much on my pedestal about this.

Yeah, well I am really excited to hear about how it went for you because I actually have a little announcement that I'm ready to make public with the internet.
