I can't even do a regular introduction.

I don't want to spend too much time on this, but it's all I want to say.

People are out of control on the internet. Be kinder. You never

know what someone's going through. Most people can't read anyone's mind. They're terrible at reading

minds. There's an entire industry for trying to read other people's minds. It's called poker. Most people are terrible at it.

That's it. That's all I got.

Is there anything in particular that you're referencing with this general statement? Well, maybe this can see us

into the actual conversation of basketball today because I don't want to spend too much time on this but

yeah the we know Cody we know the internet has been more reactionary every year since its invention, really since

social media and so I think there's a sense that when the basketball playoffs

come around now more than ever,

is the time to declare gotcha.

And the gotcha is after someone loses a series,

after a team loses a game, sometimes after a half, and then the gotcha has to be ramped up to the end

level.

So I'm thinking of, you know, and you should probably just be kinder, I know you can do it. I know people they're capable of being kinder in real life anyway and real life is the internet.

So, you know, it's it applies to everything, not just basketball. But in the context of basketball, I think it also applies to some of the way talking heads have talked

about the game for a long time.

Like some team loses and the team that loses,

the coach is a moron, the star player is a loser,
