Our guest this week is a much sought after director, occasional producer and a popular

and versatile actor of films and television.

You know it's work for movies like Oh God, you devil, Shina, the Tim Conway Harvey

Cormin vehicle, the Long Shot and Blake Edwards, the curse of the Pink Panther.

But he made his most lasting impression on the small screen in his shows like Blossom,

a program he also directed.

And of course, as the slow-witted gangster Danny Dallas on one of the most memorable

and controversial series in the history of the medium soap.

In the early 1990s, he decided to move behind the camera and since directed dozens of

pilots and TV movies as well as episodes of the most well-respected series on television,

including Coach Caroline in the city, less than perfect, spin city to an a half-man, the

big bank theory, till death, scrubs, everybody hates Chris, worlds of engagement and mom.

In a career spanning five decades he's worked with David Niven, Sir John Gilgur, Tony Randall,

James Coburn, Billy Crystal, Carrie Fisher, Roger Moore, Jonathan Williams, and

Winters, John Cleese and George Burns, as well as previous podcasts and Drew Bergman,
