I'm listening here, listening to Wait, Wait, which I recorded over the weekend and hit me up on Facebook,

which I'm going to get into a bit later. But thank you. I really do appreciate it as you know i'm not working i know

many of you are not working and uh there's no projection as to when we'll go back to work i don't

know when clubs are going to open again uh my may dates are all slowly being canceled april obviously is gone. And, uh, you know, it is what it is.

So we're all, not all of us, most of us are hunkered down and trying to survive this thing.

I'll say again, I've said it before. I'll say it again. Give yourself a break from the news. I understand wanting

to know what's going on. Personally, I prefer reading it to watching it. I don't watch much TV news.

I watched one press conference last week from the mayor of L.A. And it was actually pretty good.

Garcetti's doing a pretty good job. It was informative.

He talked about, they stepped up the use of the masks.

And again, I'm going to talk more about this later.

But they ask that you wear masks now whenever you're in a public place, a store.

Hey, walk in the street.

Yeah, maybe.

A lot of people do.

I started wearing them.

I hadn't worn mine for a long time.

And, you know, the initial reports were that the mask would protect you from spreading it, but not protect you from getting it.

Whatever.

I'm trying to follow the news.

I told you before, I'm doing my best to listen to scientists and not listen to politicians. I'm not crazy about the scoreboard. I get it, but I'm not crazy about it. We have as a nation, we've passed 10,000 deaths from coronavirus or COVID-19, however you want to call it.
