I'm your host Heather Ashley and today's case is out of Howland Township, Ohio.

Small talk sucks, so let's dive in. Robert Finger Hut was known for getting shit done. This guy managed to earn two master's degree, one in journalism and the other in criminal justice, and he had one hell of a work ethic. If you knew Robert, you knew

you could depend on Robert, especially his son from a previous relationship.

By the early 1980s, Robert and his son were living in Florida and the tides were a changing because in 1983 he met a woman.

Her name was Donna Roberts and she worked in a plastic surgeon's office and she too had a son from a previous relationship.

Robert and Donna fell in love really fast and married even quicker than that but within two years they were

actually divorced. Now that seems like a lot of big emotional decisions in a really

small amount of time but according Donna, the divorce wasn't about lost love, it was for financial and business reasons.

Robert allegedly wanted to protect his assets in case his business was sued or it all collapsed and court records do state that even after the divorce

Robert did continue to treat Donna like his wife, and most people still assumed they were married.

Some time before 1999,

Donna and Robert moved to Ohio together and settled down in Howland Township.

They got down to business purchasing two Greyhound bus terminals, one in Warren and the other in Youngstown.

Robert put most of his assets in in Warren and the other in Youngstown.

Robert put most of his assets,

including the Greyhound properties in Donna's name,

which was a little bit interesting,

you know, considering why she said they got divorced,

but the businesses actually thrived.

That same year, Donna was working at the Greyhound restaurant in one of the terminals

when she met a guy named Nate Jackson.
