Welcome back to another episode of Lights Out.

I'm your host Josh.

And I'm your host Austin. And I'm the producer Daniel and today we just had to because I've been seeing a lot of people talking about Ed Gein monster on Netflix and there's a lot of people I feel like don't really understand the full accurate story of Ed Gein.

And it's one that I haven't talked about or covered in a number of years.

And I thought, what a great opportunity to dive in deep.

And I've never covered it with you before either.

True.

And so I figured, hey, you know, while everybody's talking about it, let's, let's dive back

into it because I think there's a lot that people missed. Also, the show missed, which we'll talk

about, some major inconsistencies and inaccuracies. Straight up. Offensive. up. Some problematic inaccuracies there, yeah.

On a whole other level.

But I mean, Ed Gein is just one of those individuals who, man, I don't think he gets much more depraved than him.

I mean, he's just, he's kind of this enigma and just, we're all kind of like,

wondering, like, what happened here?

What happened with him?

Why did he do what he did?

And I think that's where most of us kind of find the curiosity for him is just trying to wrap our heads

around why he did what he did.

And especially when you put yourself back in the mid-1900s, it's like we didn't really even

coined the term yet really of a serial killer.
