Christianity discern its counterfeits and proclaim the gospel with clarity,

kindness, and truth. And today's episode is all about Jesus. It's important because I think there are a lot of people

0:26.2

who when they think about Jesus, they're sort of crafting a Jesus that they've made in their

own image. It's like they've made Jesus the mascot for whatever their heart tells them is good,

true, and beautiful. But when you actually encounter the Jesus of the Gospels, you find someone

who gets up in everyone's business. You find someone who gets up in everyone's business you you find someone

who has a little something to push against just about all of us. There's no

sort of characterization of Jesus that we could come up with in our own minds

But we talked about Jesus today and the radical life that Jesus actually lived, how he prayed.

1:32.0

That's one of the big highlights of the conversation for me today was taking the Lord's prayer, turning it into an acronym that we can actually teach our kids to keep us on track with how to pray like Jesus told us to pray and how Jesus often stole away to be by himself and

pray to the Father and I loved that part of our conversation.

1:51.8

Probably the biggest highlight for me

was when Greg told the story of being on an all-night flight

and there was a very, very large drunk man

on the flight who was even acting a little bit threatening toward the
