today Nancy Percy who is one of my all time favorite

authors.

Today we're going to be talking about her brand new book, The Toxic War on Masculinity,

how Christianity reconciles the sexes. This is an absolute must read and I'm

going to share things that I loved about the book throughout this interview so

you'll see why you need to get this too. If you don't already know about Professor

Percy, she is a best-selling author and speaker. She's a former

agnostic and was hailed in the economist as America's preeminent

evangelical Protestant female intellectual.

She is currently a professor and scholar in residence

at Houston Christian University.

Her books have been translated into 18 languages

and include total truth, the soul of science, saving Leonardo, finding truth, and love thy body.

In her new book, Professor Piercy explains how secularism has villainized the concept of masculinity. In other words, in case you haven't noticed

society is pretty down on men today, to put it lightly. In fact, one media researcher

analyzed more than 2,000 mass media portrayals of men,

including things like news and feature articles,

talk shows, and so on.

And they found that more than 75%

of all media representations of men portrayed them as quote

villains aggressors perverts and philanderers. So the question is how did we get here
